Pasir Kencana Beach is one among the beaches in Pekalongan. Local people call the beach is "ngeboom". This Beach is Located about 5km to the north of the city center. But unfortunately this beach has undergone many abrasion,so it does not have a beach, because of the tide along the shoreline embankments to withstand the growing waves erode the beach. But the Beach is worth visiting as well as ticket prices are inexpensive. Now been built inside a large aquarium for fish where the fish are rare or seldom seen by ordinary people like a shark and many more in there. Tourism is also managed by the Office of Culture and Tourism of Pekalongan City, is open from 06.00 a.m - 9.00 p.m. The facilities available are children's toys,outdoor stage,animal cages,and park benches for relaxing,food stalls,toilets and parking. Other Tourism objects that exist around Pasir Kencana Beach is a crematorium,temples and ponds fish and aquarium fish in the sea fishery port.
